Wasabi M is a tile map editor originally designed for use with Flash games developed on top of the flixel framework. Currently, it is a Windows-only application built with .NET 3.5.

The Wasabi M project started as part of the ongoing development of the prequel to “Father O’Malley – Part 3″, was later used in the development the Ludum Dare 16 entry, “Ruins”. Wasabi MĀ is currently an alpha release, and is still in development, but can already be used to build significant tile-based environments.

Wasabi M is free for noncommercial use and can be downloaded here.

(Please note: because this is still an early release of Wasabi M, you may run into bugs or generalĀ inconveniences. Please feel free to post about them in the Wasabi M Forums, but also please take care to save and backup your Wasabi M project files often!)

If you would like to use Wasabi M for a commercial project, you will need to purchase a license.
